Template guide
This is a complete clothing brand website. Homepage, shop, product pages, story, contact and order tracking. Remix it, swap in your own logo, photos and products, and launch. No code required. You just describe what you want in plain English.
Watch first
Two walkthroughs: making this site yours in Lovable, and finishing your Shopify setup so the store can take real orders.
Shopify
Covers the nine Shopify steps written out below.
After you connect Shopify
Once your products are connected between Lovable and Shopify, there are a few important settings you need to finish before your store is ready to accept real orders.
Go into Shopify and open each product you connected to your Lovable website.
Make sure the product is set up as a physical product that requires shipping.
This is important because Shopify needs to know that the product must be shipped to the customer. If it is accidentally set up as a digital or non-physical product, the checkout may not collect the customer's shipping information correctly.
Step 01 video
Go to your Shopify Shipping and Delivery settings and create your shipping plan/rates.
Decide where you will ship, how much you want to charge for shipping, whether you want to offer free shipping, and whether you want different shipping rates depending on the order amount, weight, or destination.
Always double-check your shipping settings before launching your store so customers are charged the correct shipping amount at checkout.
Step 02 video
Open each product and review whether Shopify is set to charge tax on that product.
Depending on your business, product, and where you are required to collect tax, Shopify may calculate and add applicable sales tax to the customer's order. For example, if an order is $20, applicable tax could make the customer's final total slightly higher.
Important: do not automatically turn taxes on or off just to change the customer's price. Tax requirements depend on your business and where you sell. Use Shopify's tax settings and check the rules that apply to your business.
Step 03 video
Purchase your domain from a domain provider such as GoDaddy — for example yourbrand.com.
Connect your main domain to your Lovable website.
Your customer will use this domain to browse your main website and products.
Step 04 video
You can use a subdomain for the Shopify side of your store. For example: main Lovable website yourbrand.com, Shopify subdomain shop.yourbrand.com.
In your domain's DNS settings, create the required DNS/CNAME record for the shop subdomain and connect it to Shopify according to Shopify's current domain instructions.
If you use GoDaddy and need help changing your DNS records, you can contact GoDaddy support and ask for assistance creating the required record. GoDaddy support: 1-480-366-3546.
After creating your shop.yourbrand.com subdomain, go into Shopify's domain settings and connect it.
Follow Shopify's verification instructions and wait for the domain to verify.
This gives you a branded Shopify domain while your main website remains on Lovable.
Step 06 video
Make sure your Shopify checkout matches your brand.
If your logo has a background that you don't want, you can use a background-removal tool to create a transparent version of your logo. Then upload your logo through Shopify's available checkout/branding customization settings.
This helps customers recognize that they are still purchasing from your brand when they reach Shopify's checkout.
Step 07 video
Go to Shopify Settings > General and fill everything out: store name, store contact email, sender email, billing address, store currency, unit system and time zone.
These details show up on customer emails, invoices and checkout, so make sure they match your brand.
Then choose a Shopify plan. Your store cannot accept real payments while it is on a trial or paused plan, so pick the plan that fits you before you launch.
Also make sure you connect Shopify Payments so you can actually get paid. Bank accounts from the USA, Australia and the UK are the easiest to connect.
Before accepting real customers, test the entire buying process: open your Lovable website, select a product, add it to the cart and continue toward checkout.
Make sure the Shopify checkout opens correctly, the correct products and prices appear, the customer's shipping address is collected, your shipping rates appear correctly, the applicable tax calculation is right, and your branding/logo appears correctly.
Check that everything works properly on both mobile and desktop.
Your setup should now work like this
Once you've tested the full process successfully, your store is ready for customers.
The template prompt
This is the full brief behind this website. Paste it into a new Lovable project and swap the bracketed parts for your own brand.
Copy this into Lovable
Build me a complete clothing brand website, using this structure: PAGES - Homepage: full-bleed hero image with the brand name and a short tagline, a scrolling ticker, a brand story section, shop-by-category tiles, a featured products grid, a lookbook image gallery, a brand video section, and a footer with newsletter signup. - Shop page: product grid with category filtering. - Product page: image gallery, price, size picker, add to cart, delivery estimate, shipping/returns info, and a "you may also like" row. - About page: long-form editorial brand story with images. - Contact page: enquiry form plus brand contact details. - Order tracking page: customer enters an order number and sees the status. - Customize page: a guide explaining how to rebrand the site. FUNCTIONALITY - Working shopping cart with a slide-out cart drawer that saves to the browser. - Add to cart and buy now buttons on every product page. - Sticky header on every page with a logo, hamburger menu drawer, search toggle, and a cart icon with an item count. CONTENT SETUP - Keep all brand details (name, tagline, description, email, phone, location, Instagram, shipping and returns text, currency, order prefix) in one single config file so they are easy to change. - Keep all products in one single file with name, slug, price, category, sizes, description and images. DESIGN - Bold editorial streetwear look: heavy condensed display headings, clean body text, lots of full-bleed imagery. - Use a design token system so the accent color and fonts can be changed in one place. - Fully responsive on mobile and desktop. Then: replace the brand name with [YOUR BRAND], use my uploaded logo and product photos, and load my products with my own names and prices.
First, the idea
Vibe coding means you build software by describing it, not by typing code. You say what you want in normal words. The AI writes the code, shows you the result live, and you keep refining until it looks right.
For a clothing brand that's everything you need. A shop, product pages, your story, a contact form, order tracking, checkout. You never open a code editor. You just talk.
If you can describe your brand, you can build its website.
The walkthrough
Copy the prompts below straight into the chat. Swap the bracketed parts for your own details.
Hit Remix at the top of the project. You get your own private copy with every page, image and product already in place. Nothing you do here affects the original.
Tell Lovable your brand name in plain English. It will update the header, footer, page titles, SEO meta and every mention across the site.
Try this prompt
Rename the brand from ReVearth to "NORTHBOUND" everywhere on the site, including the header logo alt text, page titles and SEO descriptions. Don't change the layout.
Upload your logo file into chat and ask for it to replace the current one. No file yet? Ask Lovable to generate one for you.
Try this prompt
Replace the header logo with the image I just uploaded. Keep the same size and position.
Upload your own product and lookbook photos, or have them generated. Point at the exact spot you want changed so nothing else moves.
Try this prompt
Replace the homepage hero image with the photo I uploaded, and generate 4 new product photos of oversized hoodies on a plain studio background. Only change the images.
All products live in one file. Give Lovable your names, prices, sizes and descriptions and it will fill the shop and product pages automatically.

Update the product catalog with these items: Classic Tee $45, Heavyweight Hoodie $95, Cargo Pant $80. Sizes S to XXL. Keep the existing product page layout.
The whole site runs on one design system. Change the accent color once and it updates every button, link and highlight on every page.
Try this prompt
Change the accent color to deep forest green and use a bold condensed font for headings. Apply it site-wide through the design tokens.
The About page is your brand story. Paste in your own background and let Lovable format it into the existing editorial layout.

Rewrite the About page with my story: [paste your story here]. Keep the exact same section layout and images.
Add a cart, payments and order tracking, then publish. You get a live link instantly and can connect a custom domain.

Add a working shopping cart with Stripe checkout and email order confirmations.
What you get
Hero, featured drop, lookbook and brand story sections.
View pageFull product grid with categories and filtering.
View pagePhotos, sizes, description and add to cart.
View pageLong-form editorial story page for your brand.
View pageEnquiry form and brand contact details.
View pageCustomers look up an order by number.
View pagePrompting
"Change only the images, keep the layout exactly the same" is the single most useful sentence you can write.
Small, specific requests land cleanly. Big rewrites are harder to undo.
Name the page and the section: "on the shop page, in the filter bar…" beats "on the site".
Upload a screenshot or reference photo. It's faster than three paragraphs of description.
Every version is saved. If a change isn't right, roll it back and re-prompt with more detail.
"How should I structure a drop page?" is a valid prompt. You can plan out loud first.
Your turn
Remix this template, spend an afternoon swapping in your own logo, photos and products, and hit publish. You'll have a live store on your own domain before the day is out.
